Normal healing: The irregularities will gradually over the next month fill in with the new tissue. In the mean time, the area should be kept clean especially after meals with salt water rinses or a soft toothbrush. Take care.

Infection isn't norm: If you have an infection in your gums, it needs to be eliminated by a dentist and hygienist. This will not go away by itself. Not sure about the description of a scab in water. I would recommend you see your dentist asap. Good luck.

bottom molar removed 9 days ago. no pain, but socket looks filled with yellowish stuff. is it still the clot i'm seeing? been rinsing w/salt water, but could it be food? photos of normal healing at 9 days just show indented gum, no scab like mine?

i had these black heads on my butt, but after a while they turned into cuts and started to bleed, now their scabs.i always pick them.what should i do?

Do not touch: how old are you? age is relevant for this kind of problem. most skin problems in female related to hormone balance, that directly or indirectly affect the skin being too dry or too oily.
so do not touch them if they are too itchy take benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25-50 mg at bed time. use skin lotion often during the day,
you can apply triple antibiotic at bed time as well
please do not touch them

i got a shallow dermis cut on my thigh 2 days ago, and today the scabs are looking black in some spots. i've been cleaning the wound every day and it doesn't show signs of infection. should i be concerned or is this normal?

: It is normal. Leave the scab alone and it will fall off when the underlying epithelium has regenerated.

i cut the tip of my finger off 17 days ago. the wound was cauterized. there's still the black scab on the tip of my finger. is it safe to go swimming/submerge it while i still have the scab?

: You need to keep it dry while the scab is still in place. If the scab comes off prematurely, there may be an open wound exposed and this would put you at risk of developing an infection. So, keep it dry and the scab intact until it naturally comes off. Good luck!

Trauma: Like you accidentally bit your inner cheek. This can happen when chewing. The white are is the mucosa repairing. This should resolve in a day or two. If persistent recheck with your regular provider.

Cut on gums: It should heal on its own. You can rinse alternately with warm salt water (1/2 teaspoon salt in glass of water) and diluted (1:1 with water) 3% hydrogen peroxide.

Not enough informati: More information is needed to answer your question. For example is there any pain, what part of your gum is changing color, is there bad breath, did you have fever, what are your other symptoms. Is this for only a few teeth or is it everywhere.
