Hearing loss: The symptoms you decribe could be caused by fluid in the inner ear, infection or perhaps a ruptured eardrum.  Please seek the evaluation of a physician in the near future.

Antibiotics: If you have a sinus infection and those symptoms then you would need an antibiotic, a steroid nasal spray, two days of a decongestant spray such as afrin.  Mucinex (guaifenesin) is an option to thin the mucus and possibly a decongestant pill like sudafed depending on certain factors in your history such as you blood pressure and heart status.  If this is repetitive then allergy skin tests are necessary.

is it better to air dry or cover up a cut or broken skin so that it will heal faster?

Cover!: Studies show the best healing time is when the cut is kept moist. Use an antibiotic ointment and cover with a bandage. Change this twice/day with gentle cleaning to be sure it isn't getting infected. If redness, pain, or discharge increase, see your doctor.

what's the best way to treat a bad cut on my finger tip?should i also let it air out once in a while?

Cut on finger: Make sure your tetanus immunization is within 5 years if a dirty wound, otherwise 10 years of receiving it first. Most important is to stop bleeding and keep it clean from dirt or other contaminants. Use a sterile bandage with antibiotic ointment to help it heal. Air exposure is fine, just not contact with contaminated surfaces, dirt, or  other toxic substances. Air, water, sterile band aids only.

will a hepa air purifier do anything for the air quality in the house? like cut down on amount of dust in the air? is it worth it to buy one?

Accepted Answer

Yes: however it is impractical to expect the whole house will be purified by a single HEPA Filter..One for each room is expensive but may actually make a difference..Filters at the basement/Heater hvac systems are available but have limited effectiveness.

Specialized testing: There are specialized procedures and equipment used to test materials for asbestos. You should find an Industrial Hygienist or a certified asbestos remediation company to help you with that. In general, building materials after 1978 are asbestos free, but there is no way to know without testing.

Healing: If this is not diabetes or circulation related, then topical healing creams would help.
I would recommend looking into a product called winvivo healing balm.  It works very well on any wound.

Diphtheria: Complications can include inflammation of the heart, heart valve infection, heart rhythm disturbances, and congestive heart failure, and also neurological including muscle paralysis, muscle weakness, and vision problems.  These muscles can influence ability to swallow and potentially to breathe.  You should be seen and re-evaluated, both by a cardiologist and an ENT doctor. Good luck.

while shaving i got a tiny cut on one of the left end lips of my vagina. i immediately cleaned it with a cleanse wipe and let it air. should i worry?

Keep it clean: Like any cut, keep it clean and monitor the area for signs of infection, such as increasing redness, soreness, discharge (pus) from the cut, fever, and generally worsening.  Overall, you should be fine, ..But if the above occur, seek medical attention.
