Try frequent tears: Try frequent artificial tears initially. If you have no improvement, or if you have loss of vision of light sensitivity, please see an ophthalmologist.

i seemed to have this problem when i sleep. i feel like i think and stare while sleeping. wake up with tired and sometimes painful eyes. how to stop?

Relax: Try not to think to much before you go to sleep and just relax. Some people do sleep with their eyes open and it can cause them to dry out and will irritate you in the morning. You can try to put ophthalmic ointment in your eyes prior to going to bed which will help to prevent them from drying out. Other times you may actually need to tape your lids shut before going to bed.

i had a flu 2 weeks ago. but have not fully recovered now suffering from a constant headache and very painful eyes?

Covid test: Need to get tested as this may lingering effect from flu or sinus infection but could also be Covid. Best to know and discuss treatment options with your doctor as you may need antibiotics for sinus infection or other treatment if Covid involved. Do not delay, early treatment is key, get rest and plenty of liquids.

Minimal Impact: This was likely very painful but is a minimal impact injury. If your headache increases, you have problems with nausea or vomiting, or your thoughts are confused go to the ER for an assessment. It is OK to take Tylenol (acetaminophen).

my wife has butterfly feeling in her stomach, it also cramps around the middle and painful eyes when moving them side to side .no redness in the eyes ?

2 problems : The eye pain and stomach are probably not related. Some people suffer from dry eyes and this can be helped with lubricating eye drops/ointment such as Lacrilube. The butterflies and cramps could represent several things ranging from benign To significant. Try to limit spicy foods, drink plenty of water, eat several small meals vs big meals. Consider meds such as simethicone, antacids, acid blocker

i am struggling with dry painful eyes. i got prescription glasses last year but it's not helping. i have noticed small bump on the white part of my eyes close to the nose side. it feels like a foreign object that's causing me pain and discomfort.

Need a lubricant: Prescription glasses will help only with the vision component not the dry eye problem. You should also be using an eye lubricant or replacement tears type of drops for your eyes. These are sold over the counter or by prescription by your opthalmalogist. Also have the eye dr check your bump as it may be caused by irritation.

Eyes: Red eyes can be for various reasons.   Conjunctivitis either viral, bacterial or allergic a possibility. Phototoxicity. Although more likely in older people glaucoma a consideration. People that look at computer screens a lot can develop red eyes.

i have diagnosed with rheumatoid arthristis and currently on predsinone and plasmoquine.ever since been diagnosed and on this medication i struggle with headaches and red,dry,itchy painful eyes and get blurred vision at times..is this normal?

Call rheuma now: Since Plasmoquine may cause permanent damage to your eyes, you need to stop it right now and contact your rheumatologist for an alternate medication. An eye doctor consult may also be needed.  What you have is not normal.
