if ct results are abnormal will the ordering dr be notified right away?

Sometimes...: It depends on the nature of the abnormality and no urgent the reading radiologist thinks the problem is. There are many varieties of abnormal, and many just need a routine follow up, sometimes another study in 6 months or so...So  unless the radiologist thinks it is an emergency, the ordering doctor may not my informed right away.

: A report of "under distended bladder is just a notation that the bladder was not full at the time of the CT.  It has no other implications.

Fracture: That part of the vertebral body that connects the body to the joints is the pars. Can break easily.

i have swelling and slight pain sometimes at bottom of left rib. had endo showing no problems. ct results are fine also. what could be causing this?

Several things: Symptoms like these are best deterimed by a thorough evaluation by your physician.  Based on his/her findings, a treatment plan can be developed to help you.

Maybe: Depending upon the practice/physician, unless they receive a call or there is an impending emergency, you may not receive a call prior to the planned time.

had a recent fall my ct results: normal noncontrast ct the brain. high left parietal scalp hematoma. its been 5days and i am okay in am but in the evening it starts to hurt and i get tired is this normal? or should i go get another ct?

: Trauma enough to create a scalp hematoma can give rise to migraine equivalent headaches a week or more after the event. By itself, hurting and getting tired are not reasons for a new study. I would confer with your doc who can decide if you need to come in for an exam. An exam could detect any abnormality that would require further imaging studies.

what does "hypo dense area of right hepatic lobe" and "low density area of right hepatic lobe" mean on ct results?

The description: is very nonspecific.  Almost every focal liver abnormality, from benign to malignant, will be "hypodense" on CT scan.  Hypodense means that it is less dense or less attenuating than normal liver, and looks darker than normal liver on the scan.  Other CT features determine the level of suspicion.  Most of these incidental findings turn out to be benign, but you need to discuss it with your doctor.

Probably normal: Criteria for lymph node enlargement on ct is by size, usually smaller than 10 mm although benign nodes associated with inflammatory processes can be larger.Sometimes lymph nodes enhance with inflammation or tumor, irregular with tumor.  Elongation of nodes is more for benign versus round of oval  sometimes leans toward tumor. Impression by radiologist reading study is most important.
