Fix a flat: A ct guided CSF leak repair indicates that
for some reason- recent surgery on the brain or spine, or a recent epidural or lumbar puncture-there was a persistant loss of cerebrospinal fluid at the site. Typically, the repair of such a leak is accomplished by injecting a small amount of blood drawn from the patient at the site of  puncture to form a clot to seal the leak.

Probably: Depends on symptoms or signs. You should see them first in case they can diagnose another reason. You may need a special ct scan where they inject a unique dye into your CSF compartment via your back. Ent will need to localize the location (ie ear/sinus/side) and size of the defect to assess what to do. Still there may be other reasons for your symptoms such as a hematoma or other sources. myelogram ct with a lumbar puncture 7ds and 2bld patch later it was csf leak. myelo  showed dual cerv & lumb stenosis. is it poss csf crashed my syst?

Not sure: I am not sure of the question. CSF leak after lumbar puncture is not uncommon. It usually takes about a week to heal. Blood patches may help. CSF leak does not cause the showing of spinal stenosis on the myelogram. The stenosis is from degenerative changes.

short fluid level in the maxillary sinus" on ct of brain. could this point to a csf leak? i had chronic post nasal drip and sinus issues for years.

Much more likely : that your chronic inflammation of the sinus has blocked drainage &amp; caused mucus to be retained in your maxillary sinuses. Seek evaluation by an ENT specialist. This would not necessarily explain your unwanted weight loss, especially if the fluid is not chronically infected.

See your doc: CSF leak should,have been fixed vutmthus fluid needs to be checked to,determine if it is CSF vs a,sinus drainage. Both can be fixed, but the CSF leak is,potentially dangerous. Get this evaluated very soon.

Wouldn't worry: The common blood patch done after a Spinal/csf leak is temporary and disappears when your body repairs the hole responsible for the leak. The tissue is now as strong as it ever was. If it were prone to opening it would have after you took a hard poop. Your type of delivery should be a balance between your personal desires &amp; the issues that arise in labor.

Drainiage: keep an eye on the surgical repair site. apply a fresh dressing, keep the area dry. if there is persistent drainage or signs of an infection (pain, redness, swelling, hot) contact your surgeon
