No: Please don't as the scalp is very vascular and prone to bleeding profusely.  Have a dermatologist do it, please.

Lots of things: Sometimes the skin just turns velvety, with a thicker epidermis. It's a common spot for papillomas and common warts, as well as acanthosis nigricans. Cancers almost never pop up here. Best wishes.

Seborrheic Keratosis: A seborrheic keratosis usually appears as a brown, black or pale growth on the face, chest, shoulders or back. The growth has a waxy, scaly, slightly elevated appearance. Occasionally, it appears singly, but multiple growths are more common. Seborrheic keratoses don't become cancerous, but they can look like skin cancer. Cost depends how many are removed.

Yes.: "freezing" means touching the skin with a liquid nitrogen-immersed cotton swab or spray. It works quite well, but you should only have this done by someone trained and experienced in its use, which is usually a dermatologist.

No: Opening the area up is an  easy way to get a significant infection. Have your doctor take a look.

No: Warts on the face are not normal at any time, including during pregnancy. I hope that your under the care of an OB for the sake of your and your baby's health. Please discuss it with your doctor.

See your doc: Such growths under a nail are not something you can fix yourself. Even a dermatologist may have difficulty removing such a growth without killing the nail bed with permanent loss of the nail. I would have it evaluated so a plan for safe removal can be made.

: Bumps that persist without change for months or years almost never are warts. The most common cause is vestibular papillomatosis; you can google it for more information, including typical photos to compare with yourself. Even though "papilloma" means wart, VP is not a form of genital warts and not caused by HPV; it's is entirely normal in some women. Good luck.

can you get hpv from someone who had it in past but tested negative a month ago if you had brief protected sex? didnt notice any typical warts but saw a half dozen pink spindle looking growths on her pubic area after the fact. hpv or something else?

: This is possible but unlikely. Your description suggests your partner does not have warts, more likely vestibular papillomatosis, which is unrelated to HPV and entirely normal in some women. Google it for photos.
