Stop shaving, 4 now: Razor-bumps result from shaving/cutting the hair too short, thus causing the hair to get stuck under the skin causing the bumps. Basically these are trapped hair follicles. Use of some exfoliating skin lotion/cream may help the trapped hair to come through to surface and thus resolve the bumps. So, stop shaving too closely will reduce this. Laser/electrolysis is expensive, but no bumps! good luck.

Folliculitis?: This is obviously some sort of bacterial infection in the skin, like folliculitis becoming boils, maybe due to staph or strep. This is a lot more common recently when many young people shave the pubic area. Since they are painful and large, you should see a doctor; you might need an antibiotic. In the meantime, no shaving for a while. Don&#x27;t worry about STDs, which don&#x27;t behave this way.
