TMJ: TMJ disorder is the second most frequent cause of orofacial pain after dental pain. The common symptom are: headache, jaw pain, neck pain, eye pain, earache. Jaw pain and filling: Some patients are predisposed to jaw pain after dental appointments. This discomfort is likely from holding the mouth open for a prolonged period of time. The pain may come from the jaw joint (TMJ) or from the jaw muscles you may  ask your dentist to periodically allow you to rest your jaw by closing during the course of the dental treatment.

Head ; Jaw pain: I hope other doctors send input: as a dentist, what I do is to collect your info, take x-rays and/or ct scan sometimes, re-create your teeth and jaw models to see if any bad jaw relationship is causing your pain. Treatment depends on what is found. Other doctors, (ent, chiropractic, naturopathic dr, oral surgeon, immunologist, neurologist, acupuncturist, etc.) also have a way to find why.

Toothache: Could be a cavity, a loose filling, periodontal problems, a cracked tooth, an abscess. So many possibilities, but without seeing the tooth and looking at a radiograph, impossible to tell what your problem is. Call a local dentist for an appointment.

TMJ pain to upper ba: Your TMJ involves more than your jaw. The joint on each side of your skull is in the temporal bone, which attaches to other bones and muscles including ones in your neck and back. There's also a small bone under your jaw, hyoid, with muscles to the t as well as to the shoulder blade (omohyoid muscle). See your dentist or another TMJ specialist.
