: For constipation: You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

Unlikely serious: Given your young age, assuming no recent trauma, I doubt that this is anything serious; certainly not an air bubble or cancerous tumor. It is possible you developed some focal irritation of the intercostal muscles between the ribs.  Depending on the location, you might have developed floating rib syndrome.  Try rest and ibuprofen or naproxen.  See a clinician if your symptoms persist or worsen.

Abdominal pain: Pain under your ribs that is GI related and associated with diarrhea would likely be a colon problem as the tranverse colon runs under your ribs on the left and right side.  Could also be stomach, gallbladder, pancreas or liver.

See your doctor: Your symptoms may be signs of something significantly wrong.  One cannot tell without a complete history, physical and possible lab/imaging tests.  Follow with your doctor as soon as you can.

IBS?: Upper abdominal bloating certainly can be a symptom of IBS. It sounds as though you have had a fairly thorough work up performed. If you're still on sure of the diagnosis, you can always ask for a second opinion from another gastroenterologist or even from a gastroenterologist here on Healthtap, if you have your test results available. Otherwise, you may ask your doctor about treatment of IBS.

Unusual ....: I am presuming you sense coldness, but that side of your chest is NOT colder to touch. Most would suggest an unusual neurologic problem, associated with diabetes or alcohol use perhaps, which alters nerve sensation. Other thoughts include side effect from anti-anxiety/anti-depressant medication, an unusual sign of anemia or even running a low grade fever. Plan to discuss with your doctor.

Nondiagnostic: Although nondiagnostic these symptoms may be due to esophagitis or esophageal motility disorder. Try following a bland,low fat diet,avoid alcohol,caffeine,nicotine, aspirin,nsaids(ibuprofen,naproxen), take a medication like nexium or zantac. If symptoms persist,I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
