is pure (truly pure) cranberry juice healthy? keep reading it it actually lowers blood sugar. anything to this?  if so, how much is safe daily?

Sugar in juice: There is sugar in fruit juices so drinking any fruit juice would not lower your blood sugar.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Unlikely: Unlikely to have significant effect, more effect from  weight loss, exercise  and medication.

See a doctor: Peeing blood is not necessarily UTI you need to see your doctor for a referral to a urologist unless you are in your period then that should go away any day now .but peeing blood is not normal.see a urologist

Cranberry juice: Cranberry juice is safe in context of peptic ulcer.  It is not a blood thinner.  Is a very good beverage.  Stay on your anti ulcer therapies, eat small amounts, maintain nutrition, avoid smoking and alcohol, avoid aspirin and NSAIDS.

2 days of uti - been chugging cranberry juice but this morning (after taking 1st antibiotic) noticed blood in urine, and the burn is back. what next?

UTI symptoms: The infection is real, still present, and it will take 3-7 days for relief.  Drink high quantities. Take your antibiotic. Follow up with your doctor to be sure that antibiotic is effective against the cultured organism.

Eating or Drinking: excessive amounts of any food or beverage distend the stomach and results in  nausea. It makes you nauseated. Nauseous means you make those around you sick.  I suppose if you start to vomit this would be true as well.

Test probably neg: My understanding is that THC has a long elimination half-life relative to other recreational drugs, &amp; may be detectable in urine drug tests from 3-10 days after use. After 4 days most will be below the limit. Heavy users can produce positive results for several months. I doubt any of the things you've tried will help; if you drink too much water, the sample may be too dilute for testing.

For certain people..: There are some studies to suggest that drinking cranberry juice can help prevent utis in woman who have had numerous previous utis. This is about the only group that has shown some benefit. For those who have never had a uti, it doesn't seem to help. It doesn't help to treat a uti, either. It doesn't seem to help males.

my 3 year old says urinating hurts and she's been holding her urine in, but no temperature and is normal in every other way. is cranberry juice best?

Let her pee in tub: If you draw a warm bath and let her sit in the warm water it will relax her pelvic muscles and she can pee in the tub with less pain.Paddling a little clean water over the pee hole is therapeutic &amp; may help the symptoms subside. Try tub showers for a while with a spray nozzle.  Sometimes this set of problems is due to sitting in soapy water that is not rinsed effectively from around the pee hole.

i am currently in recovery of a urinary tract infection. i drank some cranberry juice and felt a slight burning sensation in my side. is this normal?

Accepted Answer

Unrelated: The burning is more likely infection related and has nothing to do with the juice. Drink water, about 64 ozs a day to keep high urine flow rates. Cranberry juice purportedly helps but this has not been shown to be superior to antibiotics in medical studies.
