Yes, but...: Although the changes of emphysema and COPD are generally  irreversible, the rate of decline of lung function is less when you stop smoking compared to when you are smoking. In addition smoking cessation is recommended because it reduces the risk of death from other smoking-related conditions such as heart attacks and strokes and many cancers.

It's possible: It's possible but not certain. If stopping smoking helps your mucus production and bronchospasm that would help and if exercise resulted in significant weight loss that might help but if most of the hypoxia was related to emphysema then those interventions might not make much difference in oxygen levels. Best to quit smoking either way though to avoid cancer and disease progression.

See a primary doctor: When a woman's husband is smoking, drinking, and making her "life crazy", she can get help from a primary care dr.  Ideally, the dr. Has been taking care of her problems for many years. If that's not the case, she may have to "try out" a couple of internists or family practitioners before finding a dr. Who is a good match. The dr. Might refer to support groups or psychologists to help the couple.

: Bronchitis caused by smoking can persist for long periods, and smokers often keep coughing for months or even years after they stop smoking. It doesn't necessarily mean COPD. And in any case, it's very good you stopped smoking so young. At your age, presumably you haven't smoked more than a few years. COPD can develop in that situation, but mostly it's after 10-20 years smoking or more.

It won't get worse: Good job! You should be proud as you have accomplished a great step! With the right therapies it will not get worse. When you quit smoking you preserve the lungs that are still viable and working. you need to be on inhalers and measure your oxygen level on exertion.

: The medication for bronchodilation does not change progression, but it does control symptoms. The contr of inflammation  and avoiding further exposures are important in your management. A COVID-19 booster, Flu and pneumococcal vaccine are recommended.

No: Chewing tobacco is related to oral cancer - since it is not smoked/inhaled it doesnt increase the riskof develoing emphysema/copd.

See you md: COPD can progress even once one quits smoking. With normal aging lung function declines, so even then someone quit smoking years later one get develope signficant copd.  Also given you age of 31, I would be concerned for a condition called Alpha 1 Antitrypsin deficiancy. This is a genetic condition that can cause accelerate copd.
