GERD: Gerd=acid reflux brings stomach acids up to the mouth, where the acids can erode enamel. The enamel is protecting teeth from the wear, tear and also guards teeth against the erosion.
I suspect that you have a tooth problem that needs to be addressed.

Reasons: Teeth are made up of a hard outer layer(enamel) and a softer layer underneath (dentin). Dentin has nerves and when exposed becomes sensitive. Whitening temporarily makes the enamel more permeable and microscopically exposes the dentin. Also the trays used in whitening can put pressure on the teeth which can cause them to become sore.

Other way around: Theinfected tooth causes the abscess.  There are no pills, poultices, or snake oil that will cure. Tooth requires root canal Rx/crown or extraction/implant/crown, possibly supplemented by antibiotics. In other words, you need a Dentist. OTC NSAIDs (exactly as per package directions) and cold compresses may help take edge off until you get to a Dentist.

Yes: Sometimes wisdom teeth when coming in at a later age than normal can cause pain and discomfort, visit your dentist to confirm it is your case and not other issue like an infection.

Probably not: Flu shots are so easy that they are hardly even noticeable these days.  I cannot imagine how tooth pain would be related to a flu shot.
