Studies are differen: What the images show is the anatomy. Sometimes what is in the bladder. But the mucosal lining is best seen visually. How red is the lining etc. so a cystoscope study is important to completely study the bladder

can a cat scan do the same thing as a vaginal internal ultrasound?

No.: Transvvaginal ultrasound is usually the best way to evaluate the femal reproductive system. Ct is not as good for looking at the uterus, ovaries and endometrium. Occaisionally, we use MRI to help with complex cases, or ct to problem solve.

i have a spasam on my upperl left side under brest no pain  it affect my sleep i get cat scan ultrasound it shows nothing i need help?

??: I cannot tell by your question whether you have had an ultrasound and cat scan already.  Do you have breast implants?  Do you have a fever? Do you have breast discharge ?Once you have been examined by your primary care physician, if there is concern for something other than fibrocystic disease they will order the appropriate tests.  Ultrasound/mammogram would be the starting tests more than likely.

im 18 and i've had 2 cat scans (maybe more), 3 ultrasounds, mris. and im seeing the neurologist again so who knows maybe more. is that really bad?

Not really good...: Mri and us are benign tests.  Ct scan exposes you to radiation and potentially injected dye.  Don't get more than you need.

Here are some ...: Why did you get CT scan for, pain somewhere or bloody urine? Was scrotal ultrasound ordered after seeing something in suspicion first? With the answers to these questions in mind, one can better detail your Hx in point, conduct physicals, and do additional tests as needed so to deduce reasonable Dx for proposing possible Rx options. So, go to ask and work with Doc timely and closely for the best.

i had an ultrasound & hida scan all normal but a cat scan with large stone  i read that cat scan are the least reliable for gall stones   why did only the cat scan find this?

: More information is needed to address your question. There was a large stone where? What parts of the body were the ultrasound and CT scan. Often when posed a question like this is a difference in transfer of information

Sounds like: A benign breast nodule, an intramammary lymph node. These are common benign findings. Why were you having the ultrasound done? What is the size of the nodule? Do you have family risks? See your doctor who ordered the ultrasound to discuss your concerns.

No worries: The Cat scan is more precise than the ultrasound and this is why is used as a confirmatory test if the ultrasound shows something abnormal. So, if the Cat scan is normal, don't worry about it anymore. May I ask why did you have the ultrasound done in the first place?

Abdominal pain: It's encouraging that imaging studies are normal, but unfortunately without further story taking, it's impossible to suggest any meaningful diagnoses.

Vibrations: Great that all your tests are negative. The right ovary lays on top of the ureter and the bowel lays over and around the ovary. You could be feeling the urine flow to you bladder or the intestines moving stool and fluid.
