If you are itchy or irritated after shaving, your skin may be too dry (use moisturizer 6-8 hrs before shaving), razor too dull, or other irritants. Can also try switching to clippers for a while.

If it is a milder outbreak, you can try over-the-counter abreva 5 times a day for up to 10 days, but if not improving or if bad outbreak, see your dr for prescription treatment.
