: Sometimes with this medication, you need to add another medication called a beta-blocker to treat the high heart rate. There may also be a reason for the high heart rate-was your thyroid checked with blood tests, for example? So, you should see your doctor again and inquire about a beta blocker. You can see a cardiologist if you haven’t already for further testing and treatment. Good luck to you!

Give them a call but: Resting HR normally drops at night. As long as you don't have any symptoms (chest pain, lightheadedness, passing out), it is probably of little consequence. Hope this helps!

Corlanor?: Sounds to me like you need to see an electrophysiologist.  Corlanor is a niche drug used for heart failure patients.  Asked to be evaluated for possible supraventricular tachycardia (SVT in the lingo).  Good luck!

i have sinus tachycardia my doctor gave me corlanor 5mg half tablet twice a day. my bp runs 90/57 sometimes 98/60 is this good to take will low bp ?

Try it: This is presently an off-label indication. I have used it in some patients successfully for sinus tachycardia of unknown cause. A complete work-up to rule out causes is necessary. 
Try it after eating on a weekend when you can lie down if you feel faint, rather than at work.

: Your doctor can combine corlanor with a low dose of selective beta blocker which should not trigger bronchospasm.

: I assume you don't have an overactive thyroid&amp; I assume you've been tried on a beta blocker or a calcium channel blocker like diltiazem or verapamil. I also assume  you don't have congestive heart failure as this rather new medication is used to treat it by lowering the heart rate.  You state Corlanor controls your tachycardia.You'd go to the ER for cardiopulmonary symptoms including rates over120

: Without an exam giving advice in your situation can be harmful. Your docs should communicate . Also Pcp should be aware of ALL the meds you take. If they are mutually aware of all this then follow their directions. If not alert your PCP of all the meds you take. Good luck.

: A heart rate of 140 wouldn't be simple sinus tachycardia. How long did it last? What's your usual heart rate?   I suspect you had a bout of paroxsysmal supraventricular tachycardia of one type or other. MVP predisposes you. I'm unsure why you're taking Corlanor which is used to treat congestive heart failure.
