During : During CPR you are breathing for the person and the normal mechanism that prevents air from entering your stomach and makes it go down to your lungs is no longer active.  Therefore the stomach gets bloated as a result of air that is being forced into his airway -some of that air goes into the lungs but some gets into the stomach.  It doesn't take much for the stomach to get bloated during CPR as the activity of the entire gastrointestinal tract (including the stomach) stops, and so things begin to back up fairly quickly.  I doubt that it was blood from his airway causing all of this, although it could have contributed a bit.

i have congestive heart failure. my father and mother died at a early age with this problem. my question is why do i feel bloated and full in the upper part of my stomach is the normal  for people who have congestive heart failure?

People : People can present different ways with fluid retention when they have congestive heart failure (chf). Many people will classically have edema (swelling) of their legs, but not all. Some people will carry fluid in their abdomen, and quite often people can have a congested (full) liver that can swell with chf. I would recommend that you consider this a potential, although not definitive, symptom of CHF and talk with your cardiologist.

Someday: CHF implies he has a damaged heart and an aortic aneurysm has risk of rupture. However, it depends on how he is doing despite these diseases and what other conditions he has. His doctors will advise on course of treatment. Everybody dies someday no matter how healthy they've been. My advice is to make every day count with your loved ones, even those in perfect health.

CHF upset abdomen: Assuming your CHF is compensated an intercurrent abdominal distress syndrome likely represents a transient phenomenon that in the absence of enterotoxin or bacterial process should self resolve.  "Coffee-ground" refers to vomitus that's felt indicative of upper GI bleeding, not in relation to stool.  Persistent illness can pose a risk to CHF decompensation, if not improving please seek help.

It can: Low voltage in an EKG suggest cardiomyopathy. Which goes by the hand with Heart Failure.
- In addition Electrical Alternans in the EKG is also suggestive of heart failure

It can give clues: Heart failure is a complicated diagnosis to make and is usually based on history and physical exam findings.  An ekg may give clues that point towards a diagnosis of heart failure but can not fully diagnose it.  You may be  confusing the term heart failure with heart disease.  Ask you doctor about further specifics.

YEs it can: Vomiting blood can be from a number of causes including ulcers, reaction to anticoagulants, etc. Do not let this go- check with your physician as soon as possible.

All relative : Depends on degree of leakiness. If your doc didn't make a big deal of it then doesn't seem you need to be monitored. Sometimes it does require repeat echocardiograms in the future though.

Get checked: First of all, get fully evaluated. You have lots of significant health issues and these need close attention from you and your doctor. But keep in mind, pneumonia can frequently take a long time to heal completely, sometimes several months before your strength is fully restored.

: CHF can develop suddenly (over a minute or two) or over weeks, months or years, depending on the cause of the underlying heart disease.
