Inflammation : Bowel prep does not usually cause that , however it is possible.Crohns would cause you more severe symptoms and if it's was   the prep I would think that the inflammation would disappear after completing the procedure. Good Luck

Yes: Initially, you will have brown stool-colored results after colonoscopy prep.  Eventually the goal is clear return or clear-ish with occasional flecks of brown liquid stool.

: If you are drinking the fluid mix, it is a liquid, eating a gel makes it a semi-solid. Whether or not your doc considers this a problem is up to them.

Sure: That amount won't make any difference. But I'm a little concerned that bending this "rule" may lead you to bend a few more. Improper or inadequate prep for a colonscopy is the biggest reason many have to be repeated because the exam was suboptimal/inconclusive. You wouldn't want to repeat it. I would strongly encourage you to follow the prep instructions PRECISELY.  It's one day:)

i have been on clear liquid diet all day and started colonoscopy prep 4.5 hours ago. i have drank 2 liters of movi-prep without a bm. what should i do?

Continue prep: Continue the prep as prescribed.  If you have not had good BMs prior to time for the procedure, let the doctor who is going to do the procedure know.  If your colon is not cleared out, the doctor will not be able to see well enough for the colonoscopy to be of any value.  You may need to be prescribed a different bowel prep.

... clear liquids ..: Prior to colonoscopy 24 h regimen is clear liquids only, no red colors. Any dairy or protein drink are out of this recommendation . During prep drinking ...,apple juice is permitted - in case of diabetes can provide glucose if hypoglycemia . If you have special needs - consult w Gastroenterologist before procedure.   . .

why i have only mucus on my stool usually yellow and thats all that comes out just fatty mucus but normal colonoscopy?

Mucus on/in stool: If the colonoscopy was normal, and you don't normally suffer from chronic diarrhea, this most likely sounds like constipation. Your colon makes mucus to help ease the transit of stool.

29 yrs old, have yellow mucus in my stool every time, nausea, pain in my rectum every time i pass my bowels.i did a colonoscopy and haemmoroids were found in my rectum & also a few small erosions were found in the terminal ileum. what could it mean?

: Did the GI person explain the findings- specially of the Ileum and what to do for it?. If not pl call her/him to do so. It could be related to your diet too. In the meantime try to observe which foods aggravate your symptoms and eliminate them. Hope you feel better
