Oral lesions self-heal in 2 weeks, so if still present 14 days from onset, see specialist Oral Surgeon or specialist  Oral pathologist. Forget the Peroxide, may actually inhibit healing. Take 1 Ibuprofen every 4 hour w food or liquid for pain. If not enough, add 1 Tylenol to the Ibuprofen.  EAT.

Gastrointestinal : Gastrointestinal cleansers can be helpful. However, any time detoxification goes too quickly you can overload the bodyâ€™s mechanisms to release toxins.  Detoxifying at an appropriate rate with use of appropriate supplements is the safest approach.  If you are detoxifying too rapidly, toxic materials and bacteria can be reabsorbed from the gut back into the blood stream. This can lead to worse health rather than improved health. Signs that you may be detoxâ€™ing too quickly include headaches, joint pain, passing a lot of flatus, feeling really tired, insomnia, acne and other skin eruptions.  It is not uncommon to have loose bowel movements and some degree of intestinal cramping.

Tretinoin for acne: Tretinoin should be only used once a day, and typically at bedtime is best.  You should apply a "pea-sized" amount on the time of your finger, dab the cream on areas of acne only, then massage the cream into the skin.  You want to avoid applying it to non-affected, healthy skin to reduce the chance of irritation.  Using Cetaphil cleanser is safe for washing your face before applying tretinoin.

Should help: When you use Hibicleanse take  a shower normally with your normal shampoo and soap. Rinse off and then apply the Hibicleanse from neck to toes. Remember to keep away from face and eyes.  So nothing above the neck.  Also do not apply to genitals . Let sit for a minute or so then rinse off.

Depends: How well does the guard fit?  Why are you doing it?

The guard must fit well. But:

problems:  peroxyl is no longer in gel form only liquid, so it would be hard to place it in your guard and then the guard on your teeth, without spilling the peroxyl. (that won't work)

if you want to whiten your teeth, see your dentist who can evaluate the guard fit and dispense proper whitening gel.

Maybe: Anything that upsets the normal oral bacterial flora that "live"in the mouth can lead to   thrush.  Rinsing with full strength hydrogen peroxide can do this. Peroxyl is an oral rinse that is 1.5% hydrogen peroxide so although unlikely it is certainly possible.

if grandma accidentally swallowed instead of spit out peroxyl, will she get sick?

Peroxyl ingestion: Peroxyl (1.5% hydrogen peroxide antiseptic original mint) is made to be put into your mouth. With any intra-oral application it is always expected that some will go down your digestive tract. There is no need to worry about grandma getting sick.
