Possibly: Any infection can cause a breakdown of the lining in the mouth, but commonly this is caused by a viral infection. Best to see your otolaryngologist for evaluation and proper treatment.

Possible: These white spots could be candidasis (yeast infection) also, it can be hpv (human papilloma virus) which is the cause of warts. 
However, you may want to have the spots checked out by your doctor.

this yr i got sick six times. my throat like three times, a yeast infection, a cold, and three cold sores. what to do? im scared.

Throat infections: Don't be scared, but i would still recommend seeing your primary doctor or an ent.  They should be able to figure out what is going on.  Feel better!

i recently got tested for stds. everything was negative, except for antibodies present for hsv-1. never had cold sores that i can remember. just one scare down below ( one bump) that might have been a yeast infection. do i disclose this to partners?

: More than half of adults have HSV 1 and the most common manifestation is cold sores around the mouth. If you do not have genital herpes, it would not be unethical to not disclose. You may wish to consult with the doctor who performed the tests.

Aphthous ulcers: If the mouth sores are not herpetic they are likely to be aphthous ulcers and nobody knows the cause of these. They appear with stress, other infections, and so on. Yeast infections are a different issue and they are not likely related to you mouth sores.

Yes: A family doc or infectious disease doctor could run a panel of tests to check it. I am  not sure medical science is advanced enough to do anything about it. IVIG infusions are sometimes effective in patients with low globulins, but is terribly expensive, not covered by most insurance AND exposes you to the mercies of possible unknown blood born pathogens. Worth getting it checked if getting worse.

i'm worried because my down stairs started itching pretty bad, there's no sores do have it. could this itch be because of a yeast infection, what do you suggest?

It might be yeast.: Recommend medical eval to determine the cause. Causes of vaginal itching include yeast infections; vaginitis; contact w chemicals (douches, detergent, feminine spray, contraceptive foam/ jelly or ointments or creams); stress; pinworm; menopause (vaginal drying); precancerous lesions ; stress.

Stress & medications: Canker sores can either be from the herpes virus or sometimes an autoimmune ds. Either way stress will usually cause them to break-out.  Yeast, or fungus infections usually happen either from taking broad spectrum antibiotics or if you are using some type of inhaled steroid. Your best course of action is to see an oms to determine what is causing your specific symptoms and see what can be done.

Yes, but...: Yes, this could happen. However, the most common overall cause of genital ulcers (sores) is herpes. If there is any doubt about the diagnosis of yeast infection, see your doctor ASAP to confirm the diagnosis and assure proper treatment. Good luck!

is it possible to get herpes like sores from an untreated yeast infection?

Possibly: Candida (yeast) infections can present as red bumps or pustules that might resemble a herpetic sore or ulcer in their later stages.  Herpes sores are usually very distinctive in that they start out as blisters in clusters, are usually painful and last 5-15 days and resolve, often to reccur again in the same spot.  As a rule candia infections do not behave in this fashion.
