Pneumonia symptoms: Symptoms of pneumonia can include any combination of fever, cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, extreme fatigue, increased heart rate, chest pain. Best to see a doctor as soon as possible.

i had covid 3 weeks ago felt fine now i have shortness of breathe my oxygen is fine lungs clear chest x-ray clear and ekg clear could it just be a cold or lingering covid symptoms or my anxiety its like i have to yawn to breathe?

: If your shortness of breath is at rest and not during exertion, anxiety is the usual cause. However if you're short of breath with activities that shouldn't make you dyspneic &amp; there's no cardiac cause or anemia,, I recommend consulting a pulmonologist for evaluation. Appropriate testing will most likely include a chest CT scan and pulmonary function testing.

2019 i have a lungs infaction and now symptom is this i feel heaviness in my lungs when i bend i feel lungs heaven's i drink cold water a lot because here is to much heat thats why please help me?

: You should see a lung doctor, called a pulmonologist, to find out what is causing your symptoms and get the proper treatment. You may have bronchospasm related to your infections and an inhaler may be needed. You may need testing, like pulmonary function testing, chest x-ray or CT scan, etc. to diagnose what the problem is. Treatment depends on getting a proper diagnosis. So, see a lung doctor!

Bronchitis: A prolonged cough that is not adequately treated can develop into a bronchitis or pneumonia. Wheezing can also be a sign of development of asthma. I recommend you see a doctor who can examine your chest and then decide on diagnosis and treatment.

Not really: Lung Cancer will not cause running nose or sore throat. But it often does cause cough which is persistent(&gt;3 weeks) and progressive. Chest pain and or shortness of breath can also be a symptom of Lung cancer.

Workup: I trust you are not a smoker. This may be whooping cough -- it's up to your physician to consider a trial of antibiotics. It's worth asking whether you need a chest x-ray. That'll pick up almost all lung cancers that are big enough to give you a cough. You may also have unmasked adult-onset asthma -- a trial of an inhaled bronchodilator that helps the cough would establish the diagnosis.

Yes it can: And don't need to come from lungs,upper respiratory passages can produce lots of secretions. When you have allergies/prone to,viruses can trigger symptoms, without having an infection, saline nasal washes and regular intake of antihistamines &amp; decongestants,unless contraindicated,can help,pls read the labels carefully and don't exceed recommended dosage and duration, if no improvement c ur doctor

i had a chest cold which left me with all the symptoms of post nasal drip.  dr. said my lungs were clear.  i always feel  muscus in my throat . help?

Post nasal drip: Post nasal drip is a common cause of chronic cough and throat irritation.  It will also cause feeling of mucus in your throat.  I suggest talking with your with your doc about ways to help with the post nasal drip.  We often employ nasal steroids (flonase and nasonex), antihistamines and things like neti pot.  Best of luck!

had a cold from daughter, lasted 10 days, bad cough & congestion. now cough is over but lungs seem sore/ burning randomly. seems goes away if i take my anxiety med.no fever & sp02 is normal. could this be pneumonia without any other symptom?

: It is possible, but not that likely. More commonly the chest wall musculoskeletal structures are inflamed. NSAIDS and local heat are often effective. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and fever. Was your daughter vaccinated against COVID-19? or screened?
