If symptoms have been going on for a week, it's doctor time. She should write down the sequence of events, from when they started, and include what medications were tried, plus what makes symptoms better and what makes them worse,  and give the information to her doctor.

It could !: Fibromyalgia  is a vague difficult to prove  condition  It covers a great  range of unrelated musculoskeletal symptoms  Some clinicians even question the existence of such a diagnosis and there is no definitive laboratory test for it

See below: What you describe could be viral meningitis but it could also be a bacterial infection including bacterial meningitis.  If you are not getting better go to an er and get a spinal tap.

Reynauds: reaction,  peripheral vascular spasms is a cold sensitivity, that causes a very unpleasant reaction as you are experiencing. Get checked for insulin resistance, as this can cause this reaction to be worse.

To be honest the VAST majority of patients with this complaint have no significant finding to suggest anything wrong with them.
