Feeding Babies: Yes, of course, as long as you are not substituting vital feedings and these calories with coconut water. Water like this must be used only in addition to regular feedings.

: Unsweetened coconut water has 9.5 grams of sugar and sweetened coconut water has 18 gram of sugar. Two or three cups of    
  unsweetened coconut is good but no more.  Sweetened coconut water is bad for teeth ,too much sugar. and both can cause an increase in potassium levels but are low in calories and sodium.

hi, i have acid reflux problem. im taking nexium (esomeprazole) 1 tablet every  day. aloe vera  juice  and coconut  water  is good for that ?

DGL: DGL is licorice w/an enzyme removed which could raise BP if taken over a long period of time.  DGL is used as a natural replacement for acid blockers.  It coats the stomach and esophagus.  Peace and good health.  If you are on an acid blocker and switch (ask doc first) you may have a rebound effect for a while.

im in xareltro, my doctor didnt explain it very well, i know i cant have grapefruit, but can i have like coconut water and protein and protein shakes, im trying to stay fit and healthy but dont want to mess up my medicine either. vitimans?

: Unless you have a specific deficiency, routine vitamin usage is not necessary. Xareltro does not get in the way of maintaining adequate nutrition whatsoever. Eat a varied, good nutritional diet and you will meet your needs adequately. Good luck.

: Adding table salt to fresh coconut water will not be harmful, but just adding an occasional balanced electrolyte drink like Gatorade or Pediolyte will restore any unbalance in sodium/potassium without altering the taste of the coconut water.

Beneficial, however: I feel coconut water is a bit overhyped but it's a healthful drink with some nutrients that should benefit mom ; baby. No, Coconut: Water has chunks of coconut floating in it. This would not work.

Why ?: An infant at that age needs nothing other than breast milk to thrive. Kids at that age do not relish special tastes ( they have poor taste bud function) but any strange material can set of an allergic reaction & trigger enough vomiting/diarrhea to cause dehydration. Do so at your own (or babies)risk.

See details: A one month age does not need anything other than breast milk or formula for nutrition. Forget the others especially the seeds.

Good stuff: Good source of hydration, low calories and potassium with no down side. Be careful with some of the commercialized preparations. Try to purchase ones with simply, coconut water without the fancy additives.
