Could be +: Based on your sx  and timing with relation to eating dinner, it is very likely related to something your ingesting.  Possibilities include too much oil/fried foods, certain food sensitivity, see if you can determine what foods precipitate the problem. The most important part of the story, is eating out at restaurant. Over 95% of problems (infections, etc) related to eating occur out, not in, home.

i have been taking dgl for stomach pain. noticed drops of clear oil like substance on top of toilet water after movements. could dgl cause this?

Possibly: Licorice where the glycyrrhizinate has been removed (because it can cause high blood pressure) is dgl. Tis is a very popular digestive herbal agent that helps indigestion. Dr andrew weill suggests chewable tablets up to six daily. Water is heavier than fat and an oily substance may form at the top of the stool.

It's certainly: possible for coconut oil to cause hives if you have a skin allergy to it or an ingredient that's combined with it.  It's very unlikely to cause nausea unless you swallowed it.  Most likely the symptoms are coincidently, however.

Maybe: without an exam, I can only give general information, but allergic reactions often make people have unusual symptoms for up to a few days.

my baby, aged 13 months, had a diaper rash around a month ago. now spread to other areas like stomach and face.  most of the effected area is turned red and itchy. we are applying seba med diaper rash cream and coconut  oil. looks like not effective.

Candida: A diaper rash can cause small breaks in the skin that allow fungus and bacteria to enter and cause a local infection. The most common in babies is candida (yeast). Use a yeast infection cream containing clotrimazole (usually found in the vaginal health area of the pharmacy) 2-3 times a day for 3-5 days. (Apply the clotrimazole cream first then cover with Sebamed)

Not specifically: Olive oil would not be expected to relieve abdominal pains. You need to see a doctor for evaluation. Olive oil could make you feel worse if your problem is from gallstones or pancreatitis. I guess that it may be possible that olive oil could transiently reduce gastritis symptoms for some but would not be exoected to have long term success. Excess oil could cause diarrhea for some.

: There are some basic self testy you can do at home. Hop up &amp; down on both legs, then one at a time. If the pain makes you fall over it could be appendix. If you can't walk fully upright across the room, it could be appendix. The final decision is made when a well trained doc examines you.

: You may try breathing meditation (sit in a quiet place, breath in deeply, hold your breath as long as possible, breathe out deeply, continue for 20 minutes, lie down for 10 minutes to let stress keep leaving your body; I get headaches when I stand up and rush around immediately after 20 min of breathing meditation). Use 10 minutes of breathing meditation and 5 min lying down if not enough time.

STI eval: Don't know which Sexual transmitted infection your partner has. Would recommend that you undergo a STD evaluation. The abdominal pain may or may not be related.

Normal recovery: Drink tea, sip it all day long. Nap and rest. Avoid eating, except small amounts until you are passing gas rectally. Okay to go for walk. Call if you develop a fever or worsening abdominal pain. Be well.
