Irregular: ovulation, can cause a thicker uterine lining, causing these problems. An exam and testing with your doctor is best plan to follow.

i have severe anemia. my iron is only 26, ferritin 4, hemoglobin 10 and i'm struggling to walk. i had a blood clot with my period and felt lightheaded, sleepy and legs felt warm. do i lose iron/ferritin during menstruation? am i in danger?

: All blood loss means iron loss, including menstruation. But you apparently are losing more than usual, or you might have another cause for blood loss in addition. Additional testing is likely needed, especially evaluation for unnoticed intestinal bleeding. Keep working with your doctors until the answers are 100% certain. Good luck.

Maybe: If you had taken a pregnancy test, and it had turned positive, then we would know for sure. But if you never took a test that said you're pregnant, then we will never know if it was a miscarriage or just a late period that was very heavy.

See a doctor: There are many possible causes of vaginal bleeding, both abnormally menstruation and bleeding between normal periods. my period came early due to plan b pills i took. the blood started heavy, but gradually decreased till there was almost no blood (very little). the texture was squishy, thick blood, with clots. when period ended it was very brown. is it implantation?

: Very unlikely. Implantation may cause spotting but not clots.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.
