Probably: There are no direct studies on sperm function with these drugs but anxiety/stress can be bad for male fertility.  Since these are all drugs used to treat anxiety, there may be an underlying problem.

Switch: One common strategy to alleviate the addiction to Alprazolam and other short half life benzodiazepines is to switch to a longer half life agent like clonazepam. Ask your dr for the exact reason, but this could be one very good opportunity for you to wean off this addictive drug.

Sedation?: YOu probably don't want "sedation." You probably want relief from anxiety. There are a number of medicines, for example SSRI's and SNRI's, which treat anxiety, hopeflly without sedation.

Nervous Flyer: any of the benzodiazepines will work, they all are anti anxiety agents. There is no best, it is the physicians experience and choice.  Also the dose is experience and patient specific.  Discuss with your doctor and get the one he/she and you decide on.  A second opinion for this is like butts, everyone has one!

Benzodiazepines. : Why r u taking any benzodiazepines while pregnant?  These need to be prescribed by your doctor/np. 2 mg of xanax (alprazolam) is about equal to 20mg of valium.  Benzo is a benzo. Just asking u to do this with your medical professional and not 'just take.'.

Mixing is bad: Your physician prescribed those medications with the intention of you taking only those medications. Both Xanax (alprazolam) and klonopin are in the same class of medications and could cause an overdose. Absolutely do not take those medications at the same time without your doctor knowing. This could result in death from respiratory depression secondary to benzodiazepine overdose.

Drugs: Both drugs are bentos but different. Xanax is very short acting.and more useful for acute reactions. If taken 3-4 times daily, its impact is long gone before you take the next dose. Klonopin is long acting and will be still effective between doses. Both should be monitored carefully as they can be habituating. Don't mix with alcohol and they can cause balance issues.
