Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome may occur (ovarian enlargement, severe GI symptoms, abdominal swelling, shortness of breath, and weight gain have been reported. Patients should seek medical care if these serious symptoms develop. Often breast swelling and tenderness is mistaken for weight gain.
