i use a gel compress on my eyelid and then use a q-tip to push the clogged oil out of the meibomian gland but i dont see the oil secreting?

Too small to see: It sound as if you had good advice about eyelid treatment for meibomian gland dysfunction.  The normal oil is a mixture of oil and saline, is transparent, and quickly spreads over the lash and surrounding skin.  You cannot see it with the naked eye - and if you do see it, then that is abnormal.

Hard to predict: but I would add daily cleansing with Baby Shampoo ,to your regimen.Have you consulted with your Ophthalmologist?

1 week: Keep good hygiene and wash eyes with compression with hands. frequent infections may make ur eye lids thick.

Depends on the cause: There are different parts of the eye that many people call "tear ducts" but may not be the actual tear duct.  The tear duct, which drains your tears, can get blocked for reasons that are generally not helped by eye drops.  A clogged tear duct usually has to be probed or even have surgery to unclog it.  If you are referring to the pores that line the lids that can get clogged, abx can help.

Maybe: What you are describing sounds like an infected lid margin gland (meibomium).  Using an occlusive oil or gel can clog the opening of the gland resulting in it backing up and becoming infected.  Stop using these thngs on the eyelid.  Only use soap and water, or a water based makeup remover.  If you have an infection, warm compresses may help it reolve.  If no quick resoution, you may need antibioti

Appt time: The baby can have bacterial conjunctivitis, to nasolacrimal obstruction, viral infection--he/she really needs to be seen.  As far as lymph nodes the one near the ear is located inferior to the ear not behind it.

headaches, sinus pain, clogged eye duct. ct scan shows impacted wisdom tooth bulging into the maxillary floor. also have a deviated septum. could these be my issue?
would it be wise to have the wisdom tooth removed?

: It is questionable if that wisdom tooth is giving you so many issues. Certainly your clogged eye duct is unrelated. Sinusitis may be caused by so many different factors and can be related to your headaches. Have you consulted with an oral surgeon and an ENT?  Condition of your teeth? Are you grinding or clenching? Explore these possibilities.

Ophthalmology: this is best clarified by an ophthalmologist who is a medical eye doctor who treats I disease. You could try putting a warm wet washcloth on it for about 2-4 times a day for the next few days and see if that helps. This would be a way to treat a blocked gland.

Depends on sutures: at least 3-4 weeks... keep area lubricated and check with doctor

my tear duct is blocked and required a surgery. but i am intending to have upper eyelids plastic surgery before my tear duct surgery. is it safe ?

It is safe!: Different parts of the eyes, and depending on the surgeon will determine which order it will be done. It's in different sections of the eye/nose complex, and the other is eyelids. The eyelid surgery will involve swelling post op, and the nasal lacrimal duct may have some congestion, but the tears will now drain properly instead of down your cheeks. Good luck!
