If it's going to: work, you should see some results within 2-4 weeks. (not necessarily gone) Speak to your dermatologist if it's not improving.

Both can work: It depends on your skin sensitivity but BPO is typically Rx'd with clindamycin and can work well together. Sometimes it can be too irritating and salicylic acid can also help. If you have a sal acid wash try it for a few weeks and see how you do and can switch if you need to.

ACNE: To the extent that infection and inflammation prevails, then clindamycin may help acne. It is not a usual antibiotic for acne, though. Tetracycline derivatives are better, and less toxic. Salicylic acid may mute inflammation a bit, but inflammation associates with oil, bacteria, and buildup. Cleansing and astringent use may be better.

i have several acne products and im curious to know which ones can be mixed together. i have adapalene, clindamycin, azelaic acid, and triamcinolone. which products can be mixed together and which ones should i use in the night time and the morning?

Accepted Answer

: You should not use triamcinolone for acne and you should not mix those noted products. You should apply adapalene at night before sleep, wash your face with azelaic acid in the morning than apply clindamycin after that. Good luck.
