Muscle tone: Our muscle tone decreases while asleep and I think your diminished hand muscle tone while in bed is related to this. Since you're not having spells of loss of muscle tone during the rest of the time, I don't think you have any neurologic disorder. If you still have concerns a neurologist could evaluate and advise you.

Clenching : Clenching is not a symptom of carpal tunnel. A muscular problem may be associated with involuntary motion. Talk to a neurologist or the specialist recommended to aid in the  diagnoses the muscle problem.

: THC is a psychoactive drug and messes with your brain. MJ users are called stoners for good reason.
Quit using it while you are ahead.

i was at a golf driving range and got a blister on my hand from the club its on the finger and takes up the entire muddle it's on palm side and when i clench my hand or finger it sketches its already split and itches what do i do and look out for?

: Obviously you'll have to give up golf for a while. Don't purposely pop the blister. Wash it gently with soap&amp; water,pat dry,apply an antibacterial ointment and protect the wound with a bandaid. Change it every day or two or if it gets wet or dirty. Increasing pain,redness and/or swelling warrants treatment by a physician for infection.

: Not fully clear as to why you are concerned about ALS, which is indeed quite rare.  See an orthopedic hand specialist and get this addressed.  If "super scared", obtain counseling (cognitive-behavioral therapy seems to work well).

i have a ganglion cyst (presumably) which appears and disappears on my right wrist (underneath). sometimes my right index finger twitches after i clench my hand and/or use my hand. no twitching if i don't use the hand. could the cyst be responsible?

Not at this time: Primitive reflexes tend to persist through age 3 months.  Review this concern with your pediatrician in your baby's up coming visit.

: Muscles and ligaments in the hand can get overworked, just as in any other body part. Stretching, massage and lots of fluid intake can help wash out the lactic acid that has formed within the muscles, causing soreness/stiffness.
