Stop smoking: First, stop smoking. Most people succeed at this by gradually cutting down then stopping completely. If you are concerned about pregnancy (it's possible) then get a home pregnancy test, which usually is positive by the 1st day of a missed period.

Mittelschmertz : This is a term used for the pain that accompanies ovulation, and which usually last for a day or so after the event. If you think the cramping is from something else, or is not improving on its own, please have an OB examine you and find out what is happening

Bloated: you are 45 yo do you know when your mother or possibly sisters went through menopause? That's only one possibility. It always could be an infection. Furthermore, if you haven't had a Pap smear or uterine biopsy lately it might be time to get it done. You do not want to miss uterine cancer if all it takes is a quick in person exam.

May be normal: A clear mucus may be normal for you.  Normal mucus is frequently compared to egg whites.  Some women make more than others and these variations are normal.   If there is a lot of it and it is bothersome to you, get it checked out to be sure.  

If it itches, has a odor, looks like cottage cheese or is foamy, it is more likely to be abnormal.
