May be normal: A clear mucus may be normal for you. Normal mucus is frequently compared to egg whites. Some women make more than others and these variations are normal. If there is a lot of it and it is bothersome to you, get it checked out to be sure. If it itches, has a odor, looks like cottage cheese or is foamy, it is more likely to be abnormal.
