i was prescribed oxycodone 5ml recently for my chronic pain. after taking one i experienced stomach pain radiating into chest and back. is this normal?

Could be: opioids like Oxycodone act on the gut, and can cause constipation, nausea, cramps.  Abdominal pain with radiation isn't common from one dose.  Could happen.  If it persists, get checked out.  I'm not a big fan of oxycodone for chronic pain, but it can be safe if used properly.  Chronic pain is best treated in a structured program that includes physical and behavioral therapies with medical care.

Have it evaluated: Pain in that area can be from several causes. You need to have it evaluated and have a ct scan of the abdomen and pelvis to hopefully give you the answer.

Neuropathic pain: Neuropathic pain is the result of a dysfunction of the peripheral and/or central nervous system leading to a
chronic pain state.Neuropathic pain can occur spontaneously, is often exaggerated and does not appear to have any protective or reparative role.
See your pcp for evaluation and treatment if necessary.

Lots: Chronic abdominal pain can come from a long list of causes including but not limited to gyn causes, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis, musculoskeletal, etc. A lot depends on your history and exam. Worth checking with you health care provider to narrow the potential causes.

It can be anything: It can be one of many conditions which can cause pain in left lower abdomen and it definitely needs to be investigated
you need to see your doctors and have it checked.You need a thorough history ang physical examination, and may be colonoscopy/cat scan to find the cause of your pain and get treated appropriately.

Maybe But!: this is something you need to discuss with your physician before you treat it. Although it could be irritable bowel, there are other abdominal problems that could also be related to it. You need a clear diagnosis before therapy is instituted.

gastroelogy was the advice from my gynecologist.  i have fatigue fullness feeling and chronic pain in the lower part of belly. (r) cyst ovary  confuse?

GI issue as well?: From your question, it sounds like your gyn dr. Does not feel your pains and symptoms you are having are all related to the ovarian cyst you have.  You may have some intestinal issues as well that need to be investigated, and that is why they want you to see the GI dr.  Best wishes.  (not sure what the #40 and #41 things mean).

crohn's since 1999 resection done two years ago.  maxed out on remicade (infliximab)  i have chronic pain in abdomen and my joints are killing me. any suggestion ?

Rheumatolgy: reevalaution: you will need a full rheumatolgy evalation, and workup including blood  and urine testing. Call your prescribing doctor.
