Paresthesias: May be associated with TMJ problems or dental problems since nerves to jaw & teeth also go to chin. Make sure your teeth are in good condition. Have dentist check for TMJ dysfunction.

can chin liposuction cause numbness in your neck? i've read that chin liposuction can sometimes damage nerves and cause numbness. is that true? is it permanent?

As : As the skin is lifted to perform neck liposuction you may (but not necessarily) experience some temporary skin numbness. This shouldn't be permanent, in my experience, as the nerve endings should grow back to resupply the skin.

i went for oral biopsy for swelling . doctors didn't took sample becoz acc. to them mental nerve was enlarged there. now i m feeling numbness in chin ?

Swelling: You need to get a diagnosis. From what you describe the swelling is putting pressure on the nerve and causing the numbness. Once the swelling is resolved the numbness will disappear over time. If it is not tooth related (infection, decay) then it may be one of many aggressive cysts that will need to be removed. Have your teeth moved? Are any impacted? Pls see a pathologist 4 2nd opinion asap.

Dentist , Neuro, ENT: Anxiety is a good Usual Suspect for anything, but consider an exam by an ENT or Neurology specialist or even a dentist. Lower jaw nerve damage mBest!

Doubtful: Tingling and numbness are not typical symptoms of tmd. I would recommend that you see a dentist to address all your dental issues and evaluate your tmjoints, etc. I am assuming that you are under the care of a physician for the polyneuropathy who can address the medical issues.

Sensory neuropathy: You've had evaluation without a diagnosis. That can be worrisome and frustrating, but some of our most confounding problems are in the category of neuropathies  --         nerve dysfunctions, which sometimes have no clear underlying cause. Continue to follow up with your neurologist, as this may evolve to a more identifiable syndrome.

i have a lump on my chin thats mushy but also have right side numbness of chin and lip. i've also been having trouble with floaters in eyesight can you please tell me what this could be?

: Your chin "lump" may be a dental abscess. Have a dentist examine you. It has nothing to do with your floaters.
