Viral?: After vomiting small blood vessels pop on the face and can give you a rash, but a rash and the nausea and vomiting can also result from a viral infection. If the symptoms persist, see your doctor for a proper diagnosis.

It is important to make sure the baby gets plenty to drink, pedialyte might be a good idea. Each day, the highest fever should be lower than the day before and the baby should act normally when the fever comes down. If the baby is not alert and playful when the fever is near normal, seek medical care.

Rashes associated with very high fevers, lethargy, rapid progression, vomiting or other concerning symptom require immediate evaluation.   Rash associated with sore throat can be Strep infection &amp; requires Rx meds.

Babies get all kinds of rashes and usually have no significance. As always if you have concerns check with your pediatrician.

They are typically blotches they might come and go affect different parts of the body etc. Think about new foods, possibly just changed to milk, think of new soaps detergents, fabric softness something new in 24 to 48 hours before the rash. If he starts not acting well, develops a fever, or no resolution in a few days see ur dr.
