Xrays: Probably need to go to a Doctor for exam and Xrays. You could have fractured a rib or vertebra. 
Scary event-  don't wait to call the Doctor to get better fastest. Go to urgent care, ER or available office and get an exam for Xrays.

i'm 37 female have chest pain when moving and in general feel poorly i have sle lupus id this part of its overall sysmtoms?

Lupus: If you have been formally diagnosed as having lupus by a physician, it is not unusual to have pleurisy and fatigue.  Pleurisy is the inflammation of the lining of the lung, and can be quite painful.  Treatment of the pleurisy follows treatment of your lupus.  Your rheumatologist should be able to adjust your medications to reflect your worsening symptoms.

Likely muscular: Usually if the pain occurs with movement it is probably related to the muscles that enable your arm to work. If you can recreate the pain by pressing on the area with your hand/fingers this should make it more clear that it is muscular in nature. Feel better.

Probable esophageal : The problem of heartburn and chest pain are closely related. Heartburn, a symptom of gastro-esophageal reflux (gerd), can occasionally result in spasm of the lower part of the esophagus. This is perceived in your brain as left sided chest, shoulder, and arm pain. It is a great mimic to cardiac pain. The underlying problem is likely gerd as   consequence of abnormalities such as a hiatal hernia.

Yes: The presence of chest pain with movement most often indicates a muscular cause. Usually cardiac pain is worse with exertion, and lung related causes of chest pain are worse with breathing. Nothing is ever 100%, though. If you have risk factors for heart disease (smoking, obesity, high BP, diabetes, or a family history), see your doctor to be sure. Hope this helps!

Left chest pain: May  be nerve or tendon ( if not allergic try  NSIAD) or  costochondritis inflammation of the rib junction-palpate on your chest -see if reproduces pain  or TMJ or  reflux/ GERD, esophagitis -see if ranitidine/ prevacid / maalox changes pain ( if not  allergic) .  Rarely may be breast, lymph node inflammation(palpate breast, under arm) or  the lining around the heart pericarditis. f/u/ w/ doc

Probably: musculoskeletal but if it lasts more than 48 hours you should see health care provider for evaluation. Try a non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen to see if it helps.
