ER visit now: Seems atypical for heart attack but cannot rule out.  Also blood clot in the lung and tear in your aorta should be considered and ruled out.  Hence any acute onset chest pain deserves an immediate evaluation.  Please go to the er.

You probably pulled: a muscle in your chest when vomiting but if your symptoms worsen or you become short of breath it would be advisable to see a health care provider as soon as possible for an evaluation.

Likely not cardiac: It is most likely due to reflux or you may have hiatal hernia.

GI: Sounds a lot like gastritis, acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, or non-ulcer dyspepsia. Your omeprazole is good choice - you may need a dose adjustment.

Colon: The colon travels to the upper and then down the left side of the abdomen, to the rectum. Excessive gas may cause discomfort and pain on the left side of the abdomen and chest which in turn may be relieved by flatus. Not all chest pain is caused by gas though and may need further evaluation.

"Gas" and chest pain: At your age would be very unlikely to have a heart problem. Most likely something else.

: You'd have to have extensive abdominal bloating from constipation &amp; intestinal obstruction to have it cause chest discomfort, nausea or vomiting.  If you have an urge to move your bowels but can't, have you tried working from below by inserting dulcolax rectal suppository or fleets enema? You may require manual disimpaction  of the stool. Discuss this with your physician.
