pain in right upper chest on and off, pain radiating to right shoulder. i do have a 5.2 cm bullae in that area. what are the causes?

RU shoulder pain: Possibly from bullae. Also bullae can burst and cause a pneumonthorax. other causes can be gallbladder , cardiac ( more likely left sided but unusual presenations occur),. Follow up with doctor urgent care, may need imaging, CT /ultrasound possible stress test

Not sure: Any time we doctors hear "chest pain" it concerns us for possible heart disease.  However if your pain hurts to touch, it may be a musculoskeletal issue.  To be safe, see a dr. To get a h;p and assure the proper diagnosis, so the best treatment can happen.  Good luck.

See doctor pronto: Pain of that severity warrants prompt investigation.  From your description alone, I cannot tell whether the problem is GERD, perforated ulcer, pneumonia, heart attack, etc.

Likely not cardiac: It is most likely due to reflux or you may have hiatal hernia.

Cervical: radiculopaty ? Thoracic outlet syndrome ? You might possess pinching of nerve in neck, so called cervical radiculopathy, and if arm is raised, you might feel less symptoms. Or, you could have thoracic outlet syndrome, and if arm is elevated, you will have more intense symptoms. See an orthopedic surgeon.

had right shoulder/neck pain for 3 months. now also having burning chest pain in right side, and asthma-like symptoms. inhaler helps, but not for long?

Not related: Your right sided pain may come from the cervical spine and i urge you to consult an orthopedist before things get worse.   As for your asthma, you need a controller drug (usually an inhaled steroid) on a daily basis and again this needs to be prescribed by your doctor. Talk to your doctor soon before your asthma gets worse.

i woke up with a sore chest. no caughing or sinus. the chest pain went away after a day but moved to the back/my right shoulder blade and my arm is numb. i noticed that it is more difficult to breath and it hurts when i try to breath deep.

Doctor can evaluate: Shortness of breath is not normal, unless it is the mild temporary shortness of breath with sports activities (but even then, one must be sure she is not having more shortness of breath than her sports peers have). Possible reasons in young adults include asthma, lung infection, heart arrhythmia, heart failure, fluid around the heart, fluid in the lungs, costochondritis, anxiety, etc...

doubtful: You are describing diffuse arthralgia. If there's visible swelling, it would be termed polyarticular arthritis. There are many causes. Some are nasty -all are treatable. Rheumatoid arthritis and lupus are just 2 examples -there are many more. You should see your family doc - you may need a rheumatologist's consultation. Good luck.
