Depends!: The safely depends on your skin type and type of peel. Most aesthetic peels are mild fruit acid peels that are repeated every 30-45 days, which is how long it takes to regrow a new layer of dead skin cells. You will not accomplish much with more frequent peels. Deeper peels are repeated less often. Find a physician skilled in skin care for specific recommendations!

Scars aren't removed: by peels. You can do them until the cows come home, and not see much difference other than exfoliation. So that's an expensive alternative that has been marketed to you. Cosmetic lasers that rebuild collagen provide longer lasting results, as scarring is occurring from the damaged collagen fibers that have created crater-like effects from contraction. Treat the cause, not the hype.

Accurate diagnosis?: This will depend on the accuracy of your diagnosis. Is this acne or acne rosacea or psoriasis or drug reaction. I assume since you have been prescribed accutane, that you are under the care of a physician. This may take several regimen changes to determine the best skin care routine for your particular condition.

Professional help: I am sorry you tried worthless cures, and if someone charged you money for "blue light" therapy, I would urge you to contact your local prosecuting attorney. Pills and creams won't touch these. You'll need to get with a specialist dermatologist or plastic surgeon for a filler, microsurgery, or laser work. Especially, if you see a kid whose acne is being neglected, say something. Best wishes.
