Probably not herpes: This doesn't sound like herpes. A recurrent herpes outbreak could occur in a skin crease, but it's not typical. And a first herpes outbreak would be at the site of inoculation, i.e. direclty on the genitals, usually with multiple lesions. Finally, deeper lesions typically are folliculitis, pimples, etc (think of them as starting "in" the skin), whereas herpes is superficial ("on" the skin).

hi there.  i am a 48 year old female, seem to be getting prolonged flushing in my right cheek and ear.  could this be rosacea brought on by perimenopause?  periods been getting heavier, night sweats etc too.  had flushing last year but it went away?

: It sounds more as a vasomotor local reaction. Definitely worth visiting with your doc, have pictures of the rash you are seeing intermittently. While perimenopause appears likely as being involved, other causes cannot be ruled out.

Infection: You may have a severe infection of tooth/teeth, gums, underlying bone, etc.  You must seek treatment immediately as infection seems to be spreading.  Call your Dentist for an emergency appointment, and do it now.

i sweat on my head only when eating anything.it does not even have to be spicy food.even just thinking or smelling spicy food i immediately sweat. i have a clean shaven head and i sweat only on my head. no pain at all, no discomfort.

You may have: trained your scalp to sweat when you eat.  It may be one of those inadvertent reactions to food that you may have developed since you were a youngster.   Perhaps you were used to eating outside where the sun shone and heated your head, and now even if you are not outside, with the heat of the sun, when you eat your skin reacts as if you had been.  It's a phenomenon called conditioning.

Stop any alcohol, drugs, supplements, otc meds

Let me try to help.: Strenuous physical activity and warm temperatures are commonly associated with excessive sweating. In your case I do believe  that excessive sweeting most likely due to your anxiety.
