: Taking pain medication may be helpful however the body is telling you to rest the area. It is important you continue to take deep breadth to prevent small airway collapse. It is preferred that you seek medical care if not improving or there is worsening of the situation or if you should have fever. Rest and deliberate deep breadth is important as you wait for improvement.

Being young: Makes it very unusual.  We should adress cholesterol, sugar, cigarrettes! not to mention weight.  This in addition to medications (aspirin, beta blockers, antiplatelet agents and ace imhibitors).

I am assuming that: these are hurtful comments about obese women. The next time you feel tempted to make a comment like that - think about whether you want to hurt other people. If it isn't your goal to harm others than zip your lips.

Yes: It is fine to chew your birth control pills.  A few are actually made to be chewable, but is fine to chew any of them as long as you don't mind the taste.

Stretch your muscles: If you are not used to running very hard and then ran after your nephew it is possible that you tore some of the muscle fibers in the leg. That will result in tenderness and soreness that will last for several weeks. Try to stretch out and that should help alleviate the pain. Next time warm up before you chase the youngster.
