Stretch your muscles: If you are not used to running very hard and then ran after your nephew it is possible that you tore some of the muscle fibers in the leg. That will result in tenderness and soreness that will last for several weeks. Try to stretch out and that should help alleviate the pain. Next time warm up before you chase the youngster.
