is there a difference between cfs and ms symptoms?

Yes.: Symptoms can be similar, but nerve damage and plaques do not occur in the periphery or brain.  No structural abnormalities have been found in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome.  One is autimmune (ms) and the other, possibly do to many factors, and is a diagnosis of exclusion.  Specific abnormatities can be found in ms.

csf igg is 2.6, csf albumin is 28, cfs igg/albumin ratio is 9%. could this indicate ms or lyme disease if clinically the symptoms fit?

Maybe, maybe not: The IgG/albumin index also depends on serum IgG/albumin drawn at the same time as the CSF, and can be elevated in MS or other inflammatory demyelinating diseases such as neurosyphillis, acute inflammatory polyradiculoneuropathy, and subacute sclerosing panencephalitis. i have tiny red pin size dots on my arms , chest, tummy and some on my legs. i have me/cfs but having tests for ms, is this a symptom of ms ?

Not generally: Multiple sclerosis does not present as cutaneous eruptions, but rather as mixed neurological abnormalities and may be very intermittent.

Multiple sclerosis: Ms is a disease of the brain & spinal cord in which inflammation damages  fatty tissue called myelin that surrounds certain nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. The "myelin" acts  like insulation around an electric wire.  When its damaged nerve cells can not send messages to other parts of the nervous system normally. This can result various symptoms, weakness, speech or vision issues, etc.

I wish I : could be more specific but MS is known as the "Great mimic" in that it has many many neurological possible symptoms. The best bet is to see and discuss your/or the person you are asking for symptoms with your GP first and then if necessary with a Neurologist.

Excellent question: Subtle problems early on can be very misleading and indeed, can confuse docs.  Some common early signs include loss of vision in one eye, weakness in legs or arms, electrical shocks on flexing neck, gait imbalance or incoordination,  numbness or tingling, vague persistent fatigue, even confusion or disorientation.  Mri's are commonly helpful.

Accepted Answer

No, the reverse.: Ms plaques can act as a source for seizure activity, both focal and diffuse.  Treatment similar to those without ms.  But here might avoid the seizure complication by using potent disease modifying agents such as Gilenya or tysabri (natalizumab).

can you go blind from ms?

Accepted Answer

Can be prevented: As you probably know, a common ms problem is optic neuritis, but if it occurs, high dose IV Methylprednisolone can readily reverse it.  Best way to stabilize vision is to use potent ms agent such as tysabri, (natalizumab) gilenya, or tecfedera.  Also, enhance protection with vit d, low fat, low salt diets, avoid smoking, do aerobic exercise.  In short, art of prevention is the key.

Multiple Sclerosis: Old age. Absolutely unfair question! too many good therapies out there with too many good physicians who can treat and control this disease very well. It just requires patient compliance to find the right combo of meds to control the disease.
