Yes, however: In hospital, nurses usually check on compatibility of medicines if have to be infused together. Any medicine that could be given IV could be given via a central line. Of course, medicines that are to be given only as im (shot), cannot be given via central line.  Infusing meds and lytes via central lines requires specification of rate of infusion depending on the agent and dose to be used.

Other medicines: The term "best" is based on your tolerance as well as other objective   measures. Carbamezapine, Neurontin (gabapentin) as well as benzodiazepenes are useful for this condition.

mild chest pain in centre of my chest since this morning. so mild i did not take any medication. also experience a tightness in chest. it's not going away. should i go to the emergency room or can i wait until tomorrow to go to my gp?

Time to see doctor: A person with  "mild chest pain" and chest "tightness" should see a doctor. If her own doctor is not immediately available for help, the wisest thing to do is to be seen at the ER. The paramedics have oxygen, medications, and can do an EKG. The ER doctor can evaluate for a possible heart problem. Even if it turns out to be not a heart problem, the ER usually can provide care.

Visit GI : Hiatal hernia usually has no symptom. Even some people don’t realize they have the condition until it’s incidentally discovered during X-ray or certain tests for another condition. Most often if the pain occurs, it’s caused by GERD. Obesity, smoking, &amp; Aging increases ther risk for HH. : I would follow your endo’s instructions. If you are skeptical, then get an official second opinion from another endocrinologist. Asking random doctors with no knowledge of your medical history or lab work is not the best idea given the seriousness of this condition.

It depends: You may need both or either one depending on how one may benefit you over the other. CPAP can still help central apnea but a bit more tricky. You should have more discussion with a sleep medicine doctor to get a game plan to improve your quality of life.

Not all drugs do this and it tends to be dose related as well as purity.
