yes: The combo is safe in terms of drug interactions, but the sudafed could cause anxiety if that is a problem for you.It can also induce insomnia.

No interactions: There are no interactions between sudafed phenylephrine, Celexa (citalopram) and valium. Be careful of excessive sedation. Sudafed cough and cold has dextromethoraphan which does have a theoretical interaction with celexa (citalopram).

upped my dose of celexa (citalopram) from 20mg to 40mg today, as prescribed by doctor, and have felt great! i'm very congested. can i take sudafed with celexa (citalopram)?

Drug interactions : I did not find any interactions between these 2 drugs. However, consider all of the medicines that you take, particularly anti-hypertensives, before using decongestants. Wouldn't be a bad idea to discuss with a pharmacist.

No.: Not that i know although when taken together, you may experience sedation so it could affect your reflexes in driving  or in performing any hazardous activities. You know that you should not have any alcoholic beverages on both medications.

Do not recommend: use of alcohol with  any  SSRI medication to include celexa. They can interact.

Especially: Celexa and lexapro. Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) can interact with drugs that are metabolized through the cytochrome p450 3a4 enzyme system so a little bit more caution has to be taken with that and should be addressed with your psychiatrist.

No: No known drug drug interaction between celexa and pepcid. Side effects to each are still possible and should be discussed with prescriber and/or pharmacist.

MD can explain: An md might prescribe Celexa (citalopram) and adipex togther, especially if the benefits stand a cgood chance of outweighing the risks--these being an increase of adipex side-effects, such as agitation and rarely, more serious, new side effects. He/she can explain the rationale, and frequency of increased side effects, and what to look out for.

Check with the prescribing MD to make sure these two drugs being used together was intended.
