If she did not have a + Rapid Strep Test or a + throat culture for "strep" before starting  antibiotics, they won't be reliable now Many viruses cause pharyngitis that looks as bad as strep throat. She needs to see her Dr. if she was afebrile for 2-3 days, then spiked a fever.
