Increased urination: If your CMP is normal, you have no diabetes nor any alterations of sodium. there is no diabetes mellitus or insipidus.  Get a urine analysis and look at your urine's specific gravity.  If low, you are having too many fluids causing your frequent urination.  Limit your intake of water, or foods that contain it, such as fruits, juices and soups. Culture your urine to see if you have a UTI. Good luck

Check for carbon mon: Just to on safer side check carbon monoxide(odourless) level;other thing to look for is chronic sinusitis with post nasal drip.

Unlikely..: But, you should speak with your primary.  If this is ongoing, than there are certainly more imaging tests.  An ultrasound could be done and is cheap painless with no radiation.  If that doesn't show anything and the pain continues a CT may be useful.

i need to get my annual bloodwork done and asked my doctor to include stds. on my paper it says 3 labs... cbc/diff (w/plt), cmp, and lipid panel. would std testing fall into any of those categories?

No: STD’s would not be covered under CBC, CMP and lipids.

i had exam that included ecg-12 lead, cbc with differential, comprehensive metabolic panel, hemoglobin a1c, lipid panel, tsh, urinalysis auto only all of which came back normal. any test missing for ex hiv test? never had oral, vaginal or anal sex?

: It has to do with your symptoms, all tests should follow a potential working diagnosis. Not sure how testing for HIV would help, there are ways of transmission other than sexual, screening for adults is recommended.

: She should be fasting overnight (or after midnight) but she still can drink plain water anytime she wants.

Probalby not: - but I don't have a clue what symptoms you had.   Normal value for serum anion gap is 8-16 mEq/L.

am i supposed to avoid multivitamins and supplements the night before a blood draw? this is just for an annual physical to check my cholestrol, hemoglobin, vit d3, metabolic panel, lipid panel and cbc. also should i avoid sugar for more than 12 hrs?

If: Generally if already fasting for 12 hours then fast. Strictly 8 hours fasting is adequate for sugar. The fasting before labs is evolving. European heart association is making a different recommendation on that.

Various lab test: Cmp: comprehensive metabolic panel: tests for a variety of different metabolites and studies  activity of certain enzymes. The lipid panel is used to test cholesterol, high and low density lipids and lipoproteins. In general, theres are screening tests, and are not necessarily drawn for a specific reason. Without knowing your clinical information, it is tough to give guidance.

i think i have a stomach virus and i am scheduled for a blood test tomorrow morning (fasting lipid panel, cmp w/egfr, cpk, psa). should i postpone?

No need to postpone: it should not make a difference in those tests,Some viral inf can decrease WBC (white cells) count
