Not likely: Tingling or itchy sensation in your throat this time of year is likely ragweed allergy.  Chronic neck tension is more likely to cause neck, shoulder, back pain, and maybe headache.  It could change your voice if tensing all of the muscles in the area.  Try an otc antihistamine like allegra, (fexofenadine) some ibuprofen, and relax.

Allergy / infection?: is it dry cough ? That could be as an allergic reaction to meds of foods,if there are mucus ,then it could be a slight chest and throat infection that may need antibiotics and meds to loosen mucus.

Anxiety: These symptoms are characteristic of an acute anxiety reaction or hyperventilation syndrome. The symptoms are caused by blowing off too much carbon dioxide and can be reversed by rebreathing the exhaled air from a paper bag which replenishes some of the carbon dioxide. If you're experiencing these reactions often, stress management therapy would be helpful.

Avoid menthol: Menthol which is in most drops, feels good and cool at first. But it is drying to the mucosa and will dry your irritated throat.  So use glycerin instead.  Or black currant.  Or pectin containing drops.

Probably not: Any medication could potentially cause any side effect.  The ones you mentioned are not common for antacids.  However, acid reflux can cause coughing and a tickle in the throat.  So, it may be the underlying condition rather than the medication which is causing the symptoms.

It is possible: Muscle tension can certainly cause tingling in the face by causing referred symptoms and affecting the superficial nerves.  If the tingling is worse when you press on the tight muscles, it is a good indication that the symptoms are related.  A physiatrist can help develop a treatment plan for this and can help look for other causes.
