i had sex with a condom that is used for longer pleasure but the condom has a numbing thing. my bf took the condom off and went inside of me and after sex, my labias are swollen. can the cause of swollen labia be a allergic reaction from the condom?

: Yes, it is possible it's an allergy.  It could be an allergic reaction to the latex or whatever condom made of, or could be the numbing medicine. Do some cool compresses on area and take 25mg of Benadryl. Then make appointment with an allergist ASAP,  as possible latex allergy is nothing to take lightly. It can be a life threatening reaction and you need to be prepared for possible future reaction

It depends: The level of "trauma" to the labia minora can be minor or more severe. Sex that is too long, too rough, too dry etc can cause severe swelling. It is also possible that you have developed an infection, std or some other problem. If the swelling does not resolve, you need to be examined, call your doctor!

By itself it may not be anything, it could however be an early yeast infection ( typically an odor, drainage and itchy) or an obstructed Bartholin's cyst ( unilateral), vaginosis ( discomfort, redness), simple overgrowth, hernia, etc. Treatment will depend on identify g the cause.

The first can be evaluated with a drugstore pregnancy test. The latter requires emergency treatment. Many conditions can cause swollen labia such as trauma, tumor, cysts, infection, allergy, varicoeles, and more.  See your gynecologist to be sure.

Trauma?: This can happen just from the friction trauma of intercourse or can result from a yeast infection (or other type of infection).  You might try a lubricant and see if this helps.  If not, you might need an exam to make sure there is no yeast infection.  Best wishes.

Vaginal swelling : Would f/u with MD may be yeast infection or  include swollen infected Bartholin gland which may need lancing or other infection.( never had herpes in past? ). Used any new products? as may be allergic reaction.  f/u/ w/ gyn
