Yes, it is possible it's an allergy. It could be an allergic reaction to the latex or whatever condom made of, or could be the numbing medicine. Do some cool compresses on area and take 25mg of Benadryl. Then make appointment with an allergist ASAP, as possible latex allergy is nothing to take lightly.
