Yes: You need to be follow by your doctor and if the nodes become larger after recovery from shingles, you may need biopsy to find the cause so be treated.

The parapelvic: Renal cyst is of no significance. The lymphadenopathy is concerning and can occur in a number of cancers (metastases/lymphoma) but can also occur in the setting of infection and autoimmune disorders. Your doctor can tell you how the lymphadenopathy is going to be evaluated.

Poor: This is high stage disease with a poor prognosis.

Not normal but: ..Non specific. Any physical findings? Anything else on the scan? Abnormal labs?  Your doc may order additional tests like a pet scan or a biopsy or may opt to take a watchful approach depending on the circumstances. Make sure he/she goes over the rationale of his strategy with you. Best to you.

These lymph nodes: may not mean anything, unless there is a readily diagnosed condition that will explain their existence, such as acute infection or tumor.  Lymph nodes can pop in and out, without rhyme or reason.  The existence of CHRONICALLY enlarging lymph nodes would be a red flag.  Periodic followup CTs at intervals of 3 or 6 months would be recommended here.

Possible lymphoma: The presence of lymph nodes that can be palpated in axilla would lead to evaluation  of other sites as seen on CAT scan.  This procedure must have been ordered to see if other nodal areas were involved as in retroperitoneum.  Since there are many causes of multiple areas of enlarged nodes, dx must be determined by bx.  Aspiration of no value since architecture of nodes required for proper dx.

Yes: The drainage of mucus can cause increased size and even tenderness of lymph nodes in the head and neck region. Swelling in other locations is not common and needs further evaluation.

Some causes listed..: Lymphadenopathy is a term used to describe palpable lymph nodes. This usually means that the nodes are enlarged. They may or may not be pathological.
The common causes are infection especially throat infections and foot infections. Cancer can affect the nodes too. What helps us to determine the cause is the size of nodes, how many are enlarged and if they are painful or painless. Tell us more....

Reactive: Reactive lymphadenopathy is commonly referred to enlarged lymph nodes secondary to a different cause- most likely infection, allergies, trauma, sometimes drugs. It is not a disease of the lymph node. The treatment is generally directed towards its cause, if found.
